The red apple

The red apple

A beautiful red apple amongst the other apples. It does directly attract your attention, because all Rubens apples are provided with a white-with-green label showing prominently its name: ‘Rubens’. Does the name of the apple refer to Rubens, the famous Flemish painter known for his love painting buxom women? Further research shows that the Rubens apple is (according test panels) the most popular apple and available on the shelves until next year February. The red colour does make the difference: the name ‘Rubens’ has evolved from the Latin word for ‘red’. And according to supplier Inova Fruit the Rubens apple has a bright red colour, is full of sunshine and the most tasteful apple around, and is consumed by people that enjoy the good things of life.

A new red star

A new red star

Een rode ster in bierFor beerbrewer Heineken a new brandidentity has been made. With this new identity the brewer has made an independent recognisable image different from the identity of its known beerlabel Heineken. The biggest difference is its use of capitals in the visual brand and the eyecatching red star is being placed aside the ‘H’. The green and red colors are staying at the forefront. With this new corporate identity Heineken starts his new campaign ‘Serving the Planet’, a global campaign in which the Heineken brand makes life a pleasure for everyone.
